Life Management, Inc. is partnering with RPM Development Group in creating affordable housing in a growing number of cities and towns throughout the State of New Jersey. Life Management also serves as the resident services provider to families living in affordable housing in: East Orange,Jersey City, Keansberg, Paterson, Orange, and Newark. The majority of affordable housing apartments are leased to single working women with children, whose annual income is insufficient to afford a market rate apartment. The programs and activities offered are free to residents, courtesy of the developer, and are primarily held on-site. The programs enable residents to conveniently participate in activities that they would otherwise be unable to afford and access. Life Management offers classes in: art, exercise, cooking, nutrition, etiquette, Zumba, yoga, IntenSati, finance, music, dance and more. In addition, homework and computer labs are available at most sites, and some buildings host summer camp programs for the youth who would normally be left home while parents are working. Life Management created and hosts “Connections”, a mentoring program offered to boys and girls as a way of giving guidance, education, recreation, and a space for youth to share. Connections Programs are held on site in a healthy, safe, supervised setting. LMI listens to the suggestions of residents and attempts to offer programs that meet the needs of the residents by improving their lives, and their ability to succeed in the future endeavors. Whether the programs are educational, or recreational Life Management sees that the residents are benefiting in many ways.
